Hi, I’m Emma Rea
Founder of Soft Landing Postpartum.
It has been the honor of a lifetime to walk alongside families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum journey for over a decade. As a Licensed Midwife, I spent years serving families in birth centers, home birth practices, and community settings, witnessing firsthand how deeply quality postpartum care impacts a parent’s confidence, wellbeing, and transition into early parenthood.
Through this work, I also came to recognize a profound gap in modern maternity care. While so much attention is placed on pregnancy and birth, families are often left navigating the fourth trimester with far less support than they truly need. My hope is that we can help shift that narrative by creating a culture where mothers are deeply cared for, nourished, and supported during this transformative season.
Over the years, my work has evolved. While I no longer attend births, I feel deeply called to support families in the early days and weeks after baby arrives—offering compassionate care, somatic body care, lactation support, and a steady presence as parents find their footing. My vision for Soft Landing Postpartum is simple: to help every family experience a softer, more supported transition into parenthood.
Above all, my favorite role is being a mama to my daughter. Outside of supporting families, you’ll often find me creating art, spending time in nature, and continuing to learn about the many ways we can cultivate healing, resilience, and connection.
