Hello, I’m Kristina Cavender.

My calling has always been to support families through life’s transitions. As a mother, grandmother, experienced infant nanny, and certified postpartum doula, I empathize with, and comprehend the myriad of needs parents are faced with daily. I bring both professional training, and lived experience to the families I serve to help ease their mind, and nourish their lives.

Being trained through ProDoula, certified in Infant, and child CPR, I specialize in providing compassionate, nonjudgmental support during the postpartum period. My goal is to help families settle into parenthood with greater confidence, rest, and ease by offering practical assistance, emotional support, and an additional set of nurturing hands during those tender early weeks.

I understand that every family is unique, and I tailor my care to meet the individual needs of each parent, baby, and household. Whether supporting recovery, newborn care, feeding routines, or creating space for meaningful rest, and bonding. I am committed to helping families feel cared for, seen, and supported.

In addition to my work as a postpartum doula, I am a lifelong artist and sound bowl practitioner. I believe creativity, mindfulness, and restorative practices can play a powerful role in healing, and ones well-being. When desired, I thoughtfully weave these calming modalities into my work, helping create a peaceful and nurturing environment for the entire family.

It is an honor to walk alongside families during this transformative season, and provide the support they need to find their own rhythm, confidence, and soft landing into parenthood.
